Timothy A. Slack, CAI

Tim is the 2007 president of the Wisconsin Auctioneer Assn. and has spent many years on the board as director and past treasurer. In March 2007 he completed his third year of classes in Bloomington, IN to receive his CAI (Certified Auctioneer Institute) designation. He also took AARE 100 and will continue these classes to earn this designation in the near future. Tim was the 2004 Wisconsin State Champion Auctioneer and the 1999 Wisconsin State Bid Calling Champion. Tim holds auctioneer licenses in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota and his Real Estate broker license in Wisconsin. He started auctioneering in a sale barn just north of Fennimore, Wisconsin 23 years ago and today is selling one of the largest fat cattle sales in Wisconsin every Tuesday in Bloomington, WI. He also sells one of the largest monthly dairy sales in Wisconsin for Wisconsin Farm Auctions, Brooklyn, WI. He travels to Milwaukee every Wednesday to sell cars, trucks, bikes, boats, etc. at Milwaukee Metro Auto Auction. This is one of the largest car auctions in Wisconsin. Tim has operated his own auction company, then auction and real estate company since 1985. He has sold in many sale barns and auction yards throughout the Midwest. He has sold farms, hunting ground, country lots, commercial buildings and many homes in southwest Wisconsin at auction and the conventional way. Rodney Freymiller

Rodney went to auctioneer school at Reisch Auction School in Mason City, IA in 1976. He worked as a subcontract auctioneer for other auctioneers in southwest Wisconsin for many years. He took classes and received his real estate license in 1984. In 1990 he went to work at Tim Slack Auction & Realty in Fennimore as a auctioneer and real estate broker. He and Tim have conducted hundreds of auctions in southwest Wisconsin including real estate, farm, cattle, antique and collectibles, guns, closeout, freight and returns, commercial and household auctions. He has worked as a ringman at many auctions throughout Wisconsin and has been proclaimed as one of the best ringmen in the state. He works the ring at Bloomington Livestock Exchange almost every Tuesday and Friday. This is one of the largest fat cattle and feeder cattle auctions in the state of Wisconsin. Rodney attended the Professional Ringman's Institute in Springfield MO in November, 2007 where he received a certificate of completion. He also made the finals in 2005 at the Wisconsin State Auctioneer Contest at State Fair Park in West Allis, WI. Rodney also placed 2nd in the 2007 Wisconsin Auctioneer's Ringman contest.
Curt Freymiller
Curt went to real estate school in 1991. He started working at Tim Slack Auction & Realty in 1992 on a part time basis while continuing his feed business. In 1995 he retired from the feed business and went full time in the real estate business with Tim. Curt has listed and sold the majority of the real estate sold at Tim Slack Auction & Realty, LLC in the past 10 years. He has a feel for the true value of most all real estate being sold in our surrounding area and has a knack for putting together a buyer and a seller for a particular property at a fair price that most of us only wished we had. Rick Nelson
Rick is our newest real estate salesman having just come to Tim Slack Auction & Realty, LLC in March 2007. He is in the office 6 days a week at 8 AM and has exhibited a great work ethic. He took over for Curt in April when Curt was out on a short medical leave and performed above expectations. Rick was a mail carrier for many years in the Fennimore area and knows almost everyone which will help him in the real estate business in years to come. Rick has already shown he has an eye for detail and the presence of mind to make sure things are done in a timely fashion which is very important in the real estate business. Give Rick a call today. Bill Wood
Bill wears many hats at Tim Slack Auction & Realty, LLC. Tim has said many times that of all the clerks he has worked with at the many places he has sold for Bill is the best there is. To back up this statement please note that Bill clerks not only for Slack Auctions but for many other companies throughout the state including Hennessey Imp in Dodgeville, Wilkinson Auction & Realty in Muscoda and C. A. Tesch Auctions in Forest Junction, WI. He has been in the auction business his whole life with his father Arden and has clerked almost all of Tim's auctions.
While Bill has his own real estate firm in Wood Realty he works almost extensively with Slack Realty and has been involved in many real estate transactions in the past.
Bill is a licensed real estate appraiser and with Kathy Hestetune conducts a real estate appraisal business through Tim Slack Auction & Realty, LLC. Bill and Kathy's approach to appraising is to tell their clients what they need to know, find a true value to the subject property by searching for and finding comparable sales and finding any adverse fact that would effect the property's value. They work for many banks, lending institutions and attorneys in southwest Wisconsin and beyond.
Kathy Hestetune
Kathy also wears a couple of hats at Tim Slack Auction & Realty, LLC. As stated above she and Bill do many appraisals in the course of a year. She has taken her appraisal classes at SW Tech and has completed her hours of apprenticeship and will take her test and receive her appraisal license soon.
She also has her real estate salesman license and has listed and sold numerous properties over the past years.
She also does the web page work for Tim. This includes installing his auction schedule every month on the auction page, putting in the real estate listings and any other changes on the web page. She also is in charge of typing all sale bills, prepares and sends them out. She also does all auction advertising. Call Kathy for your appraisal and real estate needs.
Dan Soman
Dan has been helping Tim preparing auctions for the past couple of years since he closed his furniture store business. His building has been the site for many exciting auctions the past couple of years. People can bring their items long in advance of an upcoming auction and store them at Dan's building. Dan will set up the auction or let the seller's prepare it themselves.

Virgil Bendorf
Virgil worked for Tim for many years in the 90's and listed and sold many properties teaming with Curt to create a dynamic duo at Tim Slack Auction & Realty, LLC which was hard to beat. He left for a few years to successfully run his own real estate business before returning to once again handle the Stitzer area for Tim. He is not in the office on a

Terry Page
Terry handles the Bagley-Wyalusing-Bloomington area for Slack Realty and does a great job. He also did a lot of leg work on the very successful farm auction conducted by Tim back in March 2007. He has the ability to relate well with people. He is a retired insurance salesman and runs his own trailer campground in the Wyalusing area. He has been involved in many real estate transactions in the past few years and can help you with all your real estate or auction needs.
Darcy Slack
Darcy cashiers most all the auctions and knows the clerking/cashiering system inside and out. She has a way with people that makes her one the most important parts of a successful auction.
